ituated 60 km east of Ermelo and 25 km west of Amsterdam, lies Oribi Estate in the beautifull province of Mpumalanga. Oribi Estate is named after the diminutive little antelope that used to be plentiful in the area, owing to poaching, their numbers dwindled. Fortunately game farms like Oribi Estate took the initiative to help conserve the Oribi, once again proving that hunting and conservation run hand in hand. Oribi Estate is a lovely blend of hills, wetlands, open plains and eucalyptus plantations.
Landscape
The farm consists of wetlands, plains and hills as well as scattered blue gum plantations. The estate lies appoximatly 1700 meters above sea level.

Wildlife
30 species of game is available to be hunted all year with May to August being the best hunting months. Over 120 species of Birds have been sighted on the farm including Crested and Blue Cranes, 4 kinds of King Fishers and the endengered Bald Ibis.
